2–32 Junction Street, Forest Lodge: changes to planning controls

We are proposing changes to the planning controls for 2–32 Junction Street, Forest Lodge.

The changes will allow for greater height and additional floor space if new publicly accessible open space and a pathway through the site is provided. The changes also retain the original Federation warehouse building.

The additional height and floor space will allow a future apartment development with around 85 to 90 apartments. This includes additional floor space that can be awarded through a competitive design process that emphasises high-quality and environmentally sustainable building design.

This exhibition includes a planning proposal to amend the Sydney Local Environmental Plan 2012 and the Sydney Development Control Plan 2012.
